Speed-Strength & Conditioning Coach

Coach Shane currently wears many hats. He is a husband to Jacqulyn for over 20 years, a father to three daughters and a son, Wellness & Performance Coordinator at Denver Christian School, Strength Coach for Chatfield High School Ice Hockey, Mountain Vista High School Lacrosse, and Boys Basketball. Coach Shane teaches baseball & softball hitting and catching lessons, coaches online virtual personal and performance training. Coach Shane is a competitor himself competing in tactical fitness events, mountain biking, big game hunting, snow skiing, and many other outdoor events and activities.

Shane is a nationally recognized speed-strength, and conditioning coach, CrossFit trainer, and industry presenter. With over 20 years of experience, Shane currently coaches youth, collegiate, and professional athletes, CrossFit competitors, obstacle course racers, firefighters, police, and military operators, and average Joes to achieve elite-level performance in their given field.

Shane Miller was born & raised in Colorado as the oldest of four children. Spending his days on the athletic field, he developed a passion for athletics and all aspects of fitness. While playing NCAA Division I Baseball for Liberty University he solidified his dream of becoming a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.

Upon graduation he began his coaching career at the University of Nebraska under the tutelage of Boyd Eply; aka, “the Godfather of Collegiate Strength and Conditioning.”  While under Shane’s coaching and program design the baseball team won two Big 12 Titles (2003, 2005), two regional titles (2003, 2005) and a College World Series appearance in 2005. During this time Shane coached 7 players who achieved 1st team All-Big12, 3-1st team All-Americans, and 4 future major league players.

Four years later Shane accepted the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Men’s Basketball and Baseball Coach at Liberty University. While at Liberty he not only passionately led the basketball and baseball teams in significant strength and performance gains, he also helped design a multimillion dollar performance training facility.  

As his family grew and priorities changed, Shane turned his career towards personal training and coaching. While serving clients at the premier fitness facility in Fredericksburg, VA, American Family Fitness, Shane was recognized as the company’s # 1 trainer out of 187 trainers in 8 clubs, and received Trainer of the Year honors in 2010 and 2011.

In 2012, Shane began personally competing in various CrossFit events including the annual Crossfit Open, local throwdowns and obstacle course races. In 2013 he received his CF-L1 certification and has been coaching CF athletes ever since.

In May of 2013 Shane co-founded ProjectMOVE, a 10,000 sqft joint clinical, performance, and fitness training center in Littleton, Colorado. Shane lead a team of elite professionals to provide a first of it's kind center of wellness and human performance. In December of 2017 Shane left ProjectMOVE to pursue other opportunities. To this day, ProjectMOVE continues to provide performance training and adult fitness.
